SUMMARY:
Away shirt worn as The Old Lady rose from the ashes to win her first scudetto since 2006. Juventus would go an entire season unbeaten which was even more remarkable given that the side had finished 7th in the two previous seasons and had drifted into footballing obscurity. The appointment of Antonio Conte was a masterstroke as was signing Andrea Pirlo on a free transfer amongst other shrewd transfers. The scudetto was a wonderful parting gift for Alessandro Del Piero who would leave the club at the end of the season after many years of service. This title would be the first of nine-consecutive titles which made Juventus the first club in Europe’s top five leagues to do so. Shirt also served as an alternative goalkeeper top.
