Home shirt worn by the Italian national team in the 1998 World Cup as the side progressed to the quarter-finals before losing on penalties to the hosts – and eventual winners – France. Despite having a talented squad with Serie A being at its peak around this period, this was seen as huge missed opportunity to clinch Italy’s fourth World Cup that was rectified in 2006.
